About FactoryQA
What is FactoryQA?
FactoryQA is a cloud quality management system (eQMS) for manufacturers. It replaces the spreadsheets, paper forms and legacy tools behind your QMS with thirteen connected modules that share one record of every part, person, supplier and document, with purpose-built AI in every module. Who is FactoryQA for?
Manufacturers that need to run and prove a quality system: machine shops, job shops, fabricators and other plants working to AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or ISO 13485, or to their customers' quality requirements. You can start free with one administrator and add people as you go.
Which modules does FactoryQA include?
Dashboard, Tasks, Compliance, Quality Plans (APQP, PFMEA, control plans, PPAP), Documents, Issues (NCR and CAPA), Inspection (including SPC and AS9102 first articles), Calibration, Preventive Maintenance, Supplier Quality, Audits, Learning Management and QMS Generator.
Which standards does FactoryQA support?
The Compliance module scores your readiness against AS9100D, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 using evidence already in your modules. QMS Generator writes a quality manual and procedures to AS9100 or ISO 9001.
Does FactoryQA replace our ERP?
No. FactoryQA runs quality and works alongside the ERP you already run. Ready-made connectors cover Epicor Kinetic, Infor CloudSuite Industrial, JobBOSS², Realtrac and Carbon, and FactoryQA connects with most other ERP and MES systems. See Integrations.
Pricing and plans
How much does FactoryQA cost?
There is a free plan with one administrator seat. Basic is $40 and Pro is $60 per standard user per month, read-only seats are $5 a month, and Enterprise packages are custom. See Pricing.
Is there a free trial?
Every new account gets 14 days of Pro. When the 14 days end you pick Free, Basic or Pro, and every record you created stays visible and exportable.
What can a read-only seat do?
Read-only seats can open and read records but never change anything, and they cannot approve.
Can we pay annually?
Yes, on Pro. Switching from monthly to annual takes effect the same day, with a credit for unused time.
Do the AI features cost extra?
No. AI tools are included on Pro, with their own monthly allowances.
AI
What does the AI do?
It drafts PFMEAs and control plans, balloons drawings, audits your system against your standard, writes procedures and courses, and imports your spreadsheets. See AI features.
What does the AI see, and who approves it?
It reads only the modules you can open, never documents marked Exclude from AI, and saves nothing until you approve it.
Can we turn the AI off?
Yes. All AI can be turned off completely.
Data and getting started
Can we bring our existing records?
Yes. Import templates cover customers, suppliers, NCRs, gages, calibration and training, and the AI Assistant can import a spreadsheet for you. Imports can be undone.
Do suppliers need an account to answer a SCAR?
No. Suppliers answer through the supplier portal without an account. See Supplier Quality.
What happens to our records if we change plans?
Nothing is deleted. Modules your plan does not include become view only: you can open, search and export everything you built and finish work in progress, but not create or edit.

Do you help with certification?
Yes. You can use the free do-it-yourself kit, join a 9-week Certification Workshop with 18 expert-led sessions, or work 1-1 with a QMS consultant through the registrar audit.
How much is a Certification Workshop?
$10,000 per company. It includes the quality manual, procedures and forms, weekly training and implementation sessions, office hours, internal auditor training and registrar audit preparation.

Yes. Supplier Quality Services cover supplier qualification, management, training and supply chain security.
